This is just a recommendation for everyone out there who enjoys fishing to check out the movie The End of the Line.

It's a documentary about the current state of commercial ocean fishing. Although it is quite depressing at times, it does give an optimistic outlook concerning our abilities to respond to globally collapsing fish stocks.

I know this movie is not directly related to fly fishing, but it should be watched and discussed. I think that as people who have a key interest in fishing and the state of our fisheries we should take on the responsibility of encouraging others to learn too.
You do not need to love fishing to understand the importance of this movie.

The End of the Line is available at major movie stores (i.e. Blockbusters and Rogers). A better description of the film can be found at www.endoftheline.com
