Has anyone ever tryed dry fly fishing for chums? I've been reading how in Alaska they use big pink deer hair dry flies called poly wogs to entice chums to bite. Just wonderig if anyone's ever heard of this before.
thanks

never tried it, but I read an article a couple of months ago (sorry, I can;t remember where), about fishing for pinks with a hot pink polly wog in the fraser somewhere
yah I bet they would make killer smallie flys. In the article I read, the guy said they were in his fly box for about ten years until he found the right conditions to use them, but when he did, they slayed. Maybe a good beach cuttied fly? Hmm, could be exciting?
