Moving back to the island . woohoo!!

We have been perfectly happy living in Whistler for the past 15 years, but we just got a job as caretakers on a private island estate near Campbell River, so I will be trading my 6 weight, for something larger, and look forward to getting back out on the chuck. I'll be watching this forum for tips and reports , as it's been a long time since we have done any salmon fishing. We used to live in Nanoose, and have not fished CR area before. I'm looking forward to bucktailing again, hopefully my first hali, and lots of prawns, clams ,salmon, and oysters.
