Well Hardy is going back to the MK IV finish but too bad they ventilated both sides... and the cost.. wow 898 US for the spey size 4"
Trout sizes start at 675us and up.
I think i will stick with my set of mk IVs

What is it with these Bougle's..I love the little 3/4 a true Trout reel.
By the way,for you reel nuts out there...All the Hardy Reels are going "way" up in cost for 2007...get them now...

Those prices are ridiculous.
Talk about pricing out all but a few.
Hardy has lost touch with what made them what they are. No longer the innovator...seems to be just living off their name.
For those prices they can keep 'em.

You know Rookiespey;you are somewhat correct. Those prices are high...and designed for the few that can afford them...But,Hardy is definitelythe innovator...their standard reels are less Money and have drags. But the Classic reels are Classic reels and there is a definite pleasure in fishing them and listening to the Hardy Click....like the Harley Davidson Roar..
All HArdy reels are lifetime warrantied and hold their value for life
