What size are you tying? Historically, I didn't make anything over 4" and have done well for bulls. IMO It's really more important where you put your fly. However for this season, I've tied Up some "prototypes," articulated and over 4" some with bunny, others solid craft fur. I'm not sure if I'll get chased by bigger fish, but well see. other "prototypes" tied are size 2 jig style flies for putting under monster thingamabobbers to swymph. Can't wait for spring and then July and beyond.

I will be out your way mid July (and maybe coming back through in early August). Let's try to make some time. St Mary would be fun or Fernie area if you have the time. I'll be in touch.
