I am headed to VI tomorrow and was wondering if anyone is seeing or catching coho on the beaches. I don't need any particulars, just looking for general information. I am also planning on fishing the Stamp and Somass, along with the Big and Little Q, so if anyone want to fish a day or two with an old guy from Montana, drop me a line.

Good reports this week for coho from south to east coast central island of beaches. The big Q has lots of fish if your into that kind of thing. Haven't hear anything great from the Stamp/Somass, though most of the open area is only accessible through private property or boat.

The beach fishing on ECVI has been very slow. The recent rain cleared the beaches of many early fish. Most fellows I have spoken with who are experienced are all saying the same thing. Looks like another poor year. DFO has opened it up to a kill fishery making the beaches very busy for the few fish that are here.
