Hey guys. I managed to get out on one of the big lakes here in Pender Harbour and had a great evening of fishing. Lots of action from nice sized cutties and even from some other species. My buddy caught a little blueback and a peamouthed chub. The lakes are starting to warm up and I'm assuming...

I've mostly been tying mylar braid bodies with an olive mallard back and a great big eye, but I'm new to this and looking for a little more inspiration.
So lets see some of your favorite flies!
I'd like to get a 5 weight rod for beach fishing cutthroats. It seams that all the rods in that weight have wood reel seats, which I understand don't stand up well in salt water fishing. Does anybody make a 5 weight rod with an anodized aluminum reel seat that won't break the bank? Or am I...
