:cheers:The 2011 Ice-Off Party:cool:

The 2011 trout season is unofficially upon us with the lakes in the interior opening up as we speak and the local lakes in the mainland starting to turn on with the warmer weather.

To celebrate Pacific Angler is PARTYING with SAGE, REDINGTON, and RIO. The SAGE, REDINGTON and RIO pro-staff, along with Pacific Angler will be at Jonathan Rogers Park, just a block away from our full service store. They will have the latest 2011 product available for you to TRY BEFORE YOU BUY.

Have you ever wanted to cast that Sage Z-Axis 5 weight with the Rio Indicator line? Well, here is your chance! Plus there will be free casting demonstrations and casting lessons all day. This is your chance to get personal casting instruction to straighten out that nagging tailing loop.

It is the perfect opportunity to do a tune-up for the upcoming season.

Pacific Angler is also hosting the Rio Gold WF5 Distance Casting Challenge. This is a distance casting competition series that is being held throughout North America. Test your casting ability by signing up for the Rio Gold Distance Casting Challenge.

The highlights of the day are:
  1. Demo all Sage and Redington Rods and Rio lines;
  2. Free fly casting lessons and demonstrations;
  3. Rio Gold WF5 Distance Casting Challenge;
  4. In-house demonstrations; and
  5. BBQ with hotdogs and pop.
