Fishing Report for November 24th 2009

Open water.
There is not much left.

A few brave souls are still fishing Nicola Lake and are getting a couple of rainbows for the pan.
Dew worms have been the bait of choice.

The ice fishing season is officially upon us.
Remember to check the ice for sufficient thickness.
When in doubt, don’t walk out!

The few reports I have been getting back suggest the Kane Valley lakes would be a good choice.

I have been told that the Brookies are absolutely delicious right now.
Small jigs tipped with meal worms or maggots will entice the hungry trout to give you a little tug.

Worms under a bobber are always good as well.

We will try to keep you updated as the ice gets thick enough to support us safely.

Keep your stick on the ice.
