So all you coast folks, how has the vedder been fishing?
    I haven't heard a whole lot yet.

With the rain and warmer temps we've been getting down here, things have picked up big time from all the talk I've been hearing. However no specific reports if our feather chucking comrads have been a part of the storied success. Of course it's always the way I get stuck behind a desk wishing I could see for my self.

I was at the vedder on Sunday doing some gear chucking. First time there started at Lickmans and worked my way up river with an experienced friend. NOTHING ALL DAY. Not even a hookup for either of us. Seemed to be the story for everyone that we talked to as well. Great weather, poor fishing ....all in all better than being at work.

I have heard mixed reviews of the river over the last few weeks.
Seems either skunked or 1 or 2.
My Mr Miyagi seems to say its not as good as previous years but they are there, walk-read-stealth.
Guess I should try to get out again soon.
