yes you cut off the main hook I find using cheap hooks as a base a bit easier and cheaper than waddington shanks

My first post on here i will work on the presentation a bit for future submissions it is nice and easy but be sure not to forget the blue tinsel i think that is the key ingredient and you only need a few strands
