The winter session is right around the corner and I'm pumped to try a bunch of these squidy typed flies. Really like many of the design characteristics and thought making it articulated would add just that much more.
This fly:
Rear Section- Approximately 1cm Small Plastic Tubing, 3 or 4 wraps of Orange Polar Chenille, a Protube Soft Disc and Pumpkin Sili Legs.
Front Section- 3 or 4 wraps of Orange Polar Chenille, a Small Protube Sonic Disc, Pumpkin Sili Legs, Orange Marabou, Orange Ring Neck Pheasant.
Feelers- Orange Grizzly Hackles
Weight- Real Eyes
Epoxy to finish
The front and rear sections are strung together using 20# backing.
