    Default Gotta go.

After the report from Ribby about a most excellant day on the vedder,I haven't been able to stop thinking about squaretails.
So I am going out this afternoon.Probably kidnap Ricky for the afternoon.
Don't worry kids I'll bring him back.
I haven't beached a steelhead in,well let's just say it has been too long.
Looks like it is shaping up to be a decent day.
    Gotta go find my tips.

Sounds like someone has the bug! Good time to go, the water should be in perfect condition. Wish I could go again. No work Friday, so I'll go then.

    That's Steelheaders Anonamous.
Maybe if we are really lucky the river will stay inshape for Late April/early may and we can skate some flies for vedder steel.
    It's all about water temp.

Now that would be fun... Sounds like another fishout might be in order for that... I know I'd like to give it a try...

Yah ribby, the first time you watch a steelhead follow your fly just under the surface and then eat, well it is all over.
Only that will do after it is experienced.
Catching them on gear will be O.K., but it will not be complete any more.

Beware of what you wish for.

I didn't get out after all.
Got busy with some other things and all of a sudden it was 4:00.
    Bad Toad.

I read somewhere a few weeks ago an angler who said,
" Every day that you choose to not go fishing, for whatever reason,is another day that you will not fish."

    So true.
