    Default Brohm Lake

Went to Brohm lake last night and had lots of fun catching tons of 10" to 12" trouts. Twitching an emerging midge on the surface worked really well. I also had good results stripping a deer hair caddis fly on the surface this was fun cause you could see the trout chasing down the fly. I trolled an olive leech for while but I only got one strike so back to the dries and the micro trout. Once the evening came along there were a couple of mayfly hatches going on and the fish only feeding on them so on went a rusty adams and fish gulped it up no problem. The lake itself is getting quite warm so I think any fish of size will be deep. I was also wondering if anyone has ever fished Cat lake its just before Brohm on the opposite side of the highway.
    Thanks

I fish Cat Lake a few times a year. Never had any luck at all. I've seen big fish jump, so I know they are there, but I can't get them to bite my flys.
