Introduction

Hi

My name is Grant and I am from Surrey. I have been fishing a few times over my 40 + years but only the last 9 or 10 months have I been into fly fishing.
Last summer while trolling (sorry) on the Shuswap (with family) I always seemed to cast and reel in (trying to keep busy ?) . It was then I thought I would try fly fishing, more moving around, no sea sickness, tie cool bugs.

Lately the kitchen table becomes my magic tying bench with the newer flies starting to look better than the previous attempts. My wife just shakes her head and rolls her eyes.

We have taken our 1 year old son fishing twice and I bring him to fly shops to support my new addiction and start his.

As well as fishing and new dad tasks I play bass, ride bmx (still), some skateboarding, drink some beer, and drive truck for a living.
