    Default Redington rods?

Anyone have and opinions on which Redington spey rod a guy could consider?
Like to get something similar to a SAGE 8136, 7136 Z-axis or something along those lines (at a much reduced price hopefully)
    Thanks

I don't think Redington has anything even close to what you are looking for from a sage. Being that sages owns Redington they would be trying to use Redington for a different market from the one sage is in right now. A rod you might want to consider for price, quality and action is the Echo spey rods. They are very reasonably priced and have the action, warranty and quality of higher priced companies. They will be coming out with their new Dec Hogan signature series here shortly, should be a fantasic rod! Hope this helps some.

    Default or....

You could take your time and search sites like speypages and washington fly fishing for a used rod. Always lots of used spey on both sites.

If you buy a used rod built by a company like Scott or Sage that has a top notch warrenty it will be yours for life, at half the price of new.

I just bought a slightly used rod that would have cost me 700 plus tax new for 375 slightly used and the warrenty is still good on it.

    Somthing to think about
