Rolled Muddler

I tied up a bunch of Rolled Muddlers in preparation to do battle with some Cutty's in the near future. However, because I tried tying these from memory, I forgot to tie in a tail section. The overwing does reach past the bend in the hook and looks pretty good.

Has anyone ever tried tying their RM's in this fashion and had any success? If not, guess it's back to the old fly tying bench ... doh!
