Pheasant tail, peacock hearl and silver tinsel. I'd also search high and low for some copper wire if that was all i had.
Hmmm, the best way to answer this one would first be to decide what single "go to" fly pattern you could only carry, type of fish you're going after, and the water conditions. Assuming we're talking Rainbows fished in lakes my choice of fly would be the good old Woolly Bugger. Therefore your three materials would be (colors to match);
1. Marabou
2. Chenille
3. Saddle Hackle
Maybe
seal fur
pheasant tail
peacock herl
Tough one.
Thought alot about this one,
So I guess it would be materials to tie dries.

Deer Hair
Brown #12 Hackle
Deer hair/ Seals fur / Ringneck pheasant.
