Hi
I had a request to tie some bucktails for the Island and i have not tied any before, the only trouble i am having is they want a trailing hook, the only way i have tried is to loop some 50 lb mono over the shank and through the eye of the trailing hook then bind it down on each side of the front hook and glue it down is this right? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

hope this works
used 2 mustad 34007 hooks with silver mylar on both, 2 pieces of 50 lb line ( i found that if i use 1 piece over the shank up through the eye and one under shank and down through the eye the second hook stays straight out the back),
throat is combed out B.C mountain goat with guard hairs removed,
back is same with blue pearl sparkle flash on top,Then Musk ox over top with black bucktail topping.
