You could always hike up to Lindeman, greendrop and flora lakes. I have hiked up to Lindeman and had good luck in the spring/summer time. If you hit it right it can be non stop action. About a 1-2 hour hike, depending on what kind of shape you are in. If you are the round shape like me it is closer to two hours. Some nice spots to camp also.
yea that sounds like a good one!
we want to go on a hike!
the longer the hike the less people!!
and myabe more fish!!!![]()
wait, vetta is the vedder, right? wow that was a dumb question haha
I've been looking into hiking lakes too. Get a copy of the Backroad Mapbook of vancouver, coast and mountains. They're all in there. Ones I'm interested in but haven't been to by harrison are bear lake, stacey lake, cambell lake, slollicum lake, wilson lake and lookout lake. I think stacey might be a 4x4 one. Some of these i bet you'll be the only ones there. Some other ones around hope and chilliwack are swanee lake, eaton lake and ling lake. I hope i don't get shot for writing these online. The backroad mapbook also has descriptions on these lakes in the back. There's also lots by mission and maple ridge area too. Just pack out what you bring.
wow, thank you soo much Geoffvl, we for sure will pack out what we pack in, we're just a few young'uns that love being outdoors and want to catch a few trout and get away from the city, thanks so much again
Will likely be heading up to a couple of lakes in the area this weekend...I flyfished a lot in my late teens early twenties, and am just now staring to get back into it with a passion...
These two lakes were good to me for decent fish back then, I only hope they've survived the years to get better, not worse...
Will let you all know if my hopes are correct...
