New to The Coast

Hey there. Im new to the coast I just moved to Maple Ridge and I have a couple of questions...

1) Mill lake in Abbotsford: can u fish it? Whats in it? and do u fish off the bank/dock, or can u bring a float tube on it?

2) I have herd of the slough by pit lake, and pit lake, is there any other places you guys recomend?

Im not sure what I want to target yet, trout have always been my main intrest, but bass and carp bring a new curiousity.

All those places have fish.
Mill lake is a big toilet bowl in the middle of Abbotsford.
Pitt lake is beautiful. But big.
Sloughs, well they are sloughs.
Keep your eyes open for guys posting about going out.
Lots of places to fish.
Get out and do it and it won't take you long to figure it out.
If you go to the Freshwater Fisheries Society web page you can get all the stockings for lakes.
Almost anything running into the Fraser or the ocean locally will have some cutties looking for fry soon.

Im always looking for guys to cuttie fish with.one of my best spots is in maple ridge.Ihave already been out one time this year . Just for a look onthe back waters.
