Default Slick Shooter running line ?

I was gonna try the Slick shooter running line but when ever i tried to make a loop in one of the ends i found it came undone really rather easy.....

Has anyone have any experience in using this running line and how do you make the loop so its strong ?

i use whats called a hufnagel knot with a dab of uv knot sense on the knot. Its a 100%loop knot i was shown, im pretty sure its used for tarpon fishing. Tough to explain, you'll probably need to google it or bring it by the shop for someone to show you.

with the 50# double it over and use twin nail knots of 20# maxima. If you set them well(no overlapping wraps) it will be a very strong connection.

I use the guideline running line and it's a mono line...Can't nail knot it as it slips off, but the hoofnagle (?sp) is an excellent knot, easy to tie and an excellent loop...
