Patricks fly shop lists this fly as a special tie for the Harrison from the fifties.
Butterlugs.

Let’s do a Searun Cutthroat Trout Fly Swap! 1 fly for 1 fly so, if there is twelve people you would tie 12 Cutthroat Flies and when the swap is done you will get 12 different Cutthroat Flies back! The dead line for the Cutthroat flies will be determined when the final group had been compiled.
Once you have decided you want to be part of this Searun Cutthroat Trout Fly Swap you need to tie your flies and mail them to myself, Rick Baerg who is the swap organizer for this swap. Package the flies in a self addressed and stamped package. The packages sent should be something that can be re used to send your flies back. The package used, has to be able to withstand the mail system so the flies don't crush. Make sure you send enough cash in the package so I can send the flies back to you; it’s not cool to stiff the swap organizer. When all the flies have been received I will split them up, re package them and mail them off.
Remember all Searun Cutthroat flies must be tied on either TMC, Mustad Signature or Diiachi hooks! Happy tying! Also, if you do not intend to have your flies in by the deadline, please do not sign up for the swap, cheers.

I'm interested. I've only been tying since november so I don't know if my flies would be as professionally done as the other guys. Are sea run cutthroat flies a lot different that normal cutthroat flies? I have a cutthroat fly that i like tying but I don't know if it works on sea runs.
If you like it, and it catches cutties, then we like it to.
Jump on in, I guarantee you will like it.
Alright. Count me in!
