    Default Oops

Back when I was a drinker.
I really enjoyed the seasonal beers from
    Bowen Island Brewery.
Not sure if they are still around, haven't looked for awhile.
My fave was the Winter Ale.
Full bodied with a great balance of acidity, and a finish of ripe cherries.
Man I miss that beer sometimes.
It may still be available at Earl's restaurants. Bowen Island Brewery was their supplier of house suds.

One of the beers that I really enjoy
is Dead Frog. A small micro brewery
in Aldergrove. Hard finding a place that
serves it but it is good. A nice creamy beer.

Mmmmmmmm Beeeeer!! I tend to have an alergic reaction to most beers out their, I think its the perservatives in the beer but not sure, mabye someone out there knows. The beer I have been drinking of late is the Sleemans Draught, doesn't seem to bug me as much. Does anyone know of any other good beers out there that might be good for that?

    Default Me to.

Most of the Micro Brewery beers should be O.K. Rick.
They are generally all naturally brewed with no preservatives.
When I really have to have a beer thats what I go for.

Even though I'm not a huge beer drinker. (Rye) I do like Old Yale's Pale Ale, and a few of the Granville island products.

Dead Frog has no perservatives, unfortunatley they do not sell it in bottles or cans.

today im going to go to the low end of the creek. its nasty out !I dont know what its like where you are? but its PISSING here! snows melting up high.......... cold water....heavy winds.....going down to the creek... sounds like a day for oat meal stout to me...i think some samy smith oaty stout would be grand:beerchug: but England is pretty far:wallbash: so ill settle for nelson brewery's oaty stout . I also love the pattywack and faceplant that they make...better than the stout but today..standing in cold water ....working a steelies nightmare through the small car size pool that i love....ill be glade to be drinkin a dark oaty stout to keep me warm!:beerchug:
