    Default Vedder River Jan 28 2008

    Hit the Vedder this afternoon with Spey rod in hand, Worked the Train Bridge for a while nothing seen excpet one fish shown itself out of the water.

    Decided to hit the canal hit a certain area for about half an hour and finally got a sight tug tug tug then YANK !!!! Fish on !!! after a few jumps and long hard runs i get it close by to see it was wild and about a good 10-12 pounds it decides to turn and run and spit the hook out on me..

    Was a good Few hours of fishing today..

    Conditions were Low and CLear and a bit cold out there

    Way to go ST.
    So I am starting to get the feeling that in order to catch a fish,
    you have to go fishing.
    Me thinks I have found my problem.

    The River is lookng pretty good now !!!! not much action out there but there is signs of fish still !!!!

    Hope to see you at Ricks Fly tying night again !!!! it was a fun Night !!
