Yep. Back from the bush again. Looks from the booby fly that you were the rascal that grabbed some fur from my Brittany spaniel John!
    I like those eyes.

I was out on Brannen again today and what a change a bit of warm weather makes. Fish were moving throughout the day. My children and myself did not land anything large but caught a couple in the 18" range. Another couple of guys out said they had landed a couple in the 2lbs range and some other smaller fish. They were trolling gear and I didnt see the fish so I cant comment. Most of the fish we caught appeared to be the yearlings recently stocked. I can see where recreational boating could play havoc with summer fishing. There were a few folks out getting their boats ready and the wakes were a royal pain.

    Default Brannen Lake Lunkers

hey good to hear the fish are stirring. I'm getting bored of Long Lake. I Fish around Berwick up to about he rope swing. I have got a few this year, my last rainbow was 13 inches, nice and fat good for the pan Its always windy there, and im in a little v boat\belly boat, I dont go out too far

I'm heading to Brannen tomorrow, gonna be dragging a wet fly and spin casting with rooster tails and chichoni spoons.

I was at ELk\BEaver Lake in Victoria just yesterday. I say a fella on Beaver Lake side, anchored out of shore 30ft out. HE had a 20 ft leader on his fly rod using an indicator. HE got a few 17 inchers, we got none. It helps to be smart and patient, too bad I'm not either. Chronomid fishing is boring, but...... he's the guy getting fish

    Cheers, Scott
