Finally have some time and am starting to fill it up with loearning to fly fish. Having fished other ways all my life I am coming to my senses. There is just to many spots up in my area that lend themselves to the science of fly fishing. Last week I had my first lesson in tying and anxiously waiting for the next class this week. If it wasn't snowing I would seriously consider being out on the Adams R. chasing some nice rainbows.

Welcome to the site Doug. Lots of people here in the same boat as you, just beginning and ubable to wait for that next outing. Lots of very experienced tiers, fishers, and casters as well. Any questions, just fire away.

If you have a boat Doug, get out to Murdoch Point in Sicamous in February and drag some streamer patterns on a full sinking line, you will have a lot of fun!
