helping out new fly fisher persons

so i have recently started teaching my friend and his wife how to fly fish over this winter just out in parks. i was just wondering if anyone had any old tackle or gear (rods,reels,fly;s,lines) they would be willing to donate to my friends to help get set up i myself only have a few wal mart rods and what not. and well i dont have buckets of money so any help would be greatly apreciated. ive also started to tie fly over the last year but recently broke my vice so if anyone has an old vice they would be willing to part with for cheap or free i would really apreciate it. thanks. msg me on here and we will talk

I have an old vice if you want one. It is not high quality, but it would be yours if you want it. You would have to drive way out to the west side to get it though. PM me if you want to do this.

Go and talk to the guys at Troutwaters off Leckie. They have a great range of stuff for sale from high end to reasonably priced. Also, if you are ever up in Vernon at Surplus Herbies you can find yourself some very good deals on entry level equipment and supplies.
