haha, yeah got both but just poke a hole in my new neos about 12"x1"
for a hole that size, I'd drop them off at Bare in Langley and get fixed there. Dive shops are another alternative.

If the edges can be put in place without any material missing you could use aquaseal (from a tackle store) or some some stuff called seal cement (from a dive shop). I have not used the seal cement but have been told that it works well on neos. If you have torn a hole all the way through the layers, you may want to consider having them patched, as professori has already said.
Turn the waders inside out. Slide a plastic cutting board (or similar) inside, so it doesn't glue to the other side. Clean the surfaces with a light wipe of alcohol, coat the edges lightly with Aquaseal and carefully butt them together.(Go easy with the Aquaseal so you don't leave a big gob on the outside when you're done) Span the tear (on the inside) with wader patch material. Cover with another flat book/board, place a weight on to hold everything squared up, and let dry.

Ill post a pic of the tear when i get home, the hole is not clear thru to the inside but does leak. In my eyes it seems as if is thru to the metalite reflective layer Bare uses. I sent an email to Bare to see what they advise
Had a similar tear some time ago while on a fishing trip and I used a product called Gorilla Glue. This stuff is great and it is very fast acting if needed. I take it with me on all trips as it works when neoprene is wet (which activates it) and you can be in the water under an hour and also lasts for who knows how long. Without using any of the other materials mentioned give Seatux a call as he has been in the wader and dive suit business some 30 years and is a extremely good at making and repairing waders and dive suits. He lives in Lantzville (out towards Nanoose Bay). Take Care
thanks for the heads up Magnum
