Hey guys was just wondering what you guys use to keep feather and hair clipping off the floor when tying long hours
My daughter loves using the dust buster, it keeps her busy while im tyingI just need to keep her from sucking up all my good supplies
It is the only way to roll when using deer or maribou
Lol ok ill start making a army of cleaners
I just wipe it off and the vaccuum it up when I am done.
There's a variety of waste baskets that attach right to your vice.
Here's an example.

They work just fine and should attach to just about anything.
I am still learning to to flies, so I do make quite a mess.... my wife on the other hand keeps getting me the broom![]()
Maybe I'm unusual but no matter how scrupulously tidy I try to be, I always end up with bits of marabou and deer hair showing up. Even when I vacuum everything. So I've pretty much accepted that this is the way it is. When I finally get around to building a tying cabinet I am going to incorporate a couple of fans with filters for a negative air flow but I still will find bits of stuff floating around. It's the nature of the beast
Same man I love n hate marabou is get stuck in carpet
I keep a small garbage bin under my bench and try to direct as much of the bigger stuff into it, and then I give it the old dust buster every so often. If I'm doing a serious cleanup I do the dust buster, then swiffer or swiffer duster, but that's more of a once every few months thing, or if company is coming over for the weekend and might be using the "office" as a bedroom.

I'm with andy on this and have the Griffin waste basket on my vise. That said, chit still makes its way to the floor, just not nearly as much. Get used to cleaning up (or not), making art is often messy.
Bragging may not bring happiness, but no man having caught a large fish goes home through an alley. ~Author Unknown
