
got a bunch of materials from my grandpa's friend today, and i found these feathers, there very interesting , long about 10-12 inch's long, maybe more, just wondering if anybody knows what they are and if anybody knows some secret patterns that they know i can tie with this stuff

Golden pheasant tail sections. Makes great wingcases and bodies. Can be used as you would ringneck pheasant with a different effect.
Golden Pheasant it is. Try it wrapped around the shank on a pheasant tail nymph and for other mayfly patterns. It also works great for legs/beards folded under the fly.
