Kane Valley anyone?

heading to kane valley. spend a day at kane lakes, but concentrating on chicken ranch and second upper and lower. im guessing the usual for now, boatman and backswimmers, leeches, dragons... just looking for some reports or storys. cheers.

Were heading there Saturday, weather looks good, will be starting with leeches and looking for other bugs. Anyone been up recently?

have always done well with leeches at kane and chicken. dragons at second upper/lower.

We picked some off with size 12 burgundy red bead head mohair leeches and boatman all in 5-10 feet of water right at the boat launch on lower Kane. Fishing was slow until water warmed up to 51 degrees. Fish were 14-16 inches, nothing to write home about.
