    Cool looking for new U-boat.

Ok having been away from fishing a few years, and having Sold my old U-boat. I need to scope out a new one.
interested in one that can handle a decent amount of gear, 2 rods, and even a cooler for my lunch.

my old one was a creek co. 420, it had a nice li'l section behind the seat for my cooler. but so-so on the gear storage.

    any suggestions?
Let the water flow, and allow the fish to return to the waters from whence you caught them.

How about this one that was just featured on a Nice fish junior episode, tried it out in the Serpentine river and surprised a couple of people in a canoe when my buddy and I passed them going upstream. Very cool and has a ton of options for gear storage.

Oh yeah, I have no financial interest in this product.

Unsure of your budget, but the Dave Scadden boats are very nice.. also for the 2-350$ range, Outcast's fishcat / fat cat series are great.

    flyboy - what (brand/model) ... i don't know the show/episode you are refering to...

andy.larkin - Those D.Scadden boats do look nice,.. as for $$$ i was hoping to try to keep it under $500, cause i'll also need to get a good set of fins.. thinking "Force-fins", possibly...

I have an outkast super fat cat. Its awsome! It has inflateable seats, so its a comfy tube to kick around for a long time. I have also floated creeks on it. Its super super durable because of the pvc coating on the bottom. The inner tube is durable as well, but the likely hood of puncturing the outershell is slim to none unless its on purpose. It has two big storage bags on each side, and a big dry storage area behind the seat. The bow of the tube sits higher out of the water so it makes kicking around fast and simple. I had a caddis creek tube at one point, and it felt like there was alot of resistance on the back of the tube when trying to kick around. Also, I have used this to float small creeks and rivers... Amazing! If you look online there is tons of accessories for the super fat cat as well as the fat cats. I have two road holders on mine to carry spare rods. It also has handles on the front of the storage compartments that work great as rod holders as well.
I actually love my u-tube, I also have a pontoon boat. And I dont prefer one over the other. Just depends if Im fishing a small lake where I wont kill myself kicking against wind!
    Hope this helps!

Pricey but lifetime comfort and portability and you sit out of the water.

Had an outcast prowler. Very roomy with nice pocket space.
