    Default SPEY line setup

So can anyone tell me how I should setup my line? Does it go backing - running line - shooting head - tip - leader&tippet?

ummmm, yep. I recommend winding your line on backwards first, ie. tip, head, running line, backing last, to find out who much backing your reel can handle with all your running line and shooting head etc. But ya, backing, running line, shooting head, tip, tippet is how she rolls out. You forgot to add fly, then fish hehehe

Hey, no probs. It's such a basic question, but one you certainly don't want to mess up right off the bat. Good luck out there - have fun!

Well, if you forget to add the fly, you'll never get a fish

Unless you try to catch it with a lasso setup
