    Default Long Belly Spey Lines

    Hey guys, with Bulkley and area coming to the end and the "T" getting going. I was wondering if you could share some of your experinces with new long belly lines. I haven't had much time to fish of late but will be spending some time on the "T" with my new Mieser when it arrives, I would like to line it up with a new long belly and would love to here some first hand info.

    if the wind is up, long belly can be a handful. Did u get the 6/7/8??
    Nextcast 95 would be good on that rod... but i hate fighting the wind up there so i usually stick with shorter belly lines.
    love to swing

    Hi Ian,

    Nice to here from you! I got the 16'1" 6/7/8 weight, sweet stick! I was going to get the the next cast 95 but they, nextcast have no supply left and M&Y is un able to get one for me? Im not big on Pink, CND is out but the Snowbee 3D sounds interesting. Do you have any specks on this line and do you know the website for it?

    Default 3D

    Hello Rick;
    The Snowbee 3D has a 73' head,2 coloured and so on. The new Snowbee 4D is now available with an 84' head...nice for big sticks...The Snowbee lines are very slick and coil free...braided core . The 3D comes in various weights and densities, from sink tip,intermediate and fast sink. This past winter and during the high water conditions I have been useing these heavy lines almost exclusively and have found that they cast the best of all I have worked with over the past 10 years. Many of the other sinking lines have a singular line dimension,ok for chuck and duck. ,but terrible for casting.

    Rick try the Snowbee UK site.
    I have a Snowbee 3D 11/12 73 foot head weighs 870 grains
    Ian Gordon 75 ft head 730 grains
    Nextcast 95 9/10 when holding at the 85 foot mark the weight should be in the window for your rod.

    Orvis superline 100 foot head but weighs 1050 grains

    Also have an old SA long belly that weighs in at 860 grains belly around 70 feet.

    You are welcome try them.
