I'll be up in Nanaimo Wednesday looking at a few potential apartments so I might have to make the trek out there with the kickboat if I can time the tides right..
i find the bite and tide guide is pretty close. the best time for pontoons is around low tide that ive seen, however there can quite a wicked current out there. An anchor would be an asset. Stay off to the south side of the creek as thats where i saw them all jumping. I dont mind posting this as it seems to be a world renowned beach and it isnt gonna make a difference if i give updates, it will be shoulder to shoulder within a few weeks anyhow. Fish on!
I agree Coast. There is a significant difference between posting updates, or information on well documented places, and giving up very obscure "secret" spots.
