Default Beach fishing around Campbell River

    Hi folks,

I made a visit to the nile creek fly shop yesterday... Needless to say, drove away with a great new snowbee setup! (and a few good casting tips) I'm super stoked. I want to try to catch some nice sea run cutties of the beaches, but have no experience beach fishing. The previous posts on the forum have been helpful and have made for good reading. What I'm really hopeful for is to hookup with some people that can show me the ropes. I know that last year there was talk of a bunch of people getting together in the area for some fishing... Anybody want to hit the beaches?

Same here guys. I got a heck of a deal on a 7wt switch (Redington CPX for $210...shipped!) and it's sitting in a mail room instead of being bent on the beaches somewhere. Soon enough...soon enough...

Coho are already in pretty close to the beach in my neck of the woods and it's torture!
