Conkle lake or Vaseaux Lake

Planning on going camping in mid-September and would like to try Conkle but I'm not sure I can get my trailer in there. Is it accessible with a small travel trailer (14 foot) and decent 4x4? The trailer is relatively low. Alternatively, where on Vaseaux is the camping? Highway side or other side? Thanks for any feedback.

Its been a while since I've been to vaseux but the I'm pretty sure the camping is on the highway side.

I've been there and seen guys camping at the boat launch at the south end of the lake but I think the locals would get pretty pissed.
