sea run time!! go get some elven patterns and fry at your local fly shop and go hit some creek mouths. fish the creek mouths high tied and incoming tides. and go for a walk down the beach from the estuary a few hundred yards and look for active fish . ( go down the beach the way the tied is ripping , the week elven and fry that get eaten , get swept out by the tied)fish the first 5 pools of the creek as well ,and any small creek flowing into the chuck has fish so good luck and lets here some reports ???

Ok, the fish is nice, but wow! Beautiful grip on your rod there - what's it made of? Where'd you get it?

Damn! It's a work of art.

I'm guessing here, but is it made from Doug Fir Bark, or burnt/stained cork, or Ponderosa Pine Bark? Burl?
    I gotta know!

I was out yesterday at the little river beside the powell river ferry terminal for the low tide in the evening. Did not see any fish or fry for that matter the conditions other than the low tide where amazing, calm seas, no wind, and even some sunshine at times mixed in. Has anyone been having much luck lately around the Comox Valley, if so is the hi tide the best oppurtunity to have success chasing cutties.
