I have an older 9.6 horse vikinng boat motor. When i had it out on the lake the first time it ran fine. It would get up and go. but when I tried to troll slow id died. It took me about 40 mins to get started because it was flooded but after that it would just troll slow. It wouldnt get up and go. I would put it full throttle and nothing. But when being in neutral and putting it in full throttle it would rev right up. I took it out again the following weekend and it would only troll it wouldnt get up and go. But it ran great other than that issue. I dont know alot about boat motors. I was just curious if anyone knows what this may be and how to fix it. Plus if i have to send it to a shop does anyone know any cheap places to take it. I asked one place they told me $100 for an hour to clean the carb. but i find that pretty pricy? Any info is greatly appreciated Thank you!!!
