It sure seems that way with big &little Q. Seems like people dont care as they know there is little chance of getting busted. It burns me too to see that going on while you are doing the very best to help the chances of survival
So I had a chat with two dudes fishing shrimp tails on with centerpin setups on the little Q. I suggested that there was a bait ban, but buddy said he was sure that there wasn't.
Now I'm not one to start fights on the water, but I'm seriously considering carrying both the regs and a cell phone.
Shame on you two who ever you are. Apparently they are mainlanders who had been fishing the Cowie in the morning.
I couldn't be more angry at the moment. On their way down stream they caught two nice cutties, even low hold me on their way as if it were a race to get the the tressle pool.

there is also an app now (for iphones at least) that allows you to have all the regs on your phone.
Too bad more people aren't using that app.
I was wishing for the "smack up-side the head" app. I could have opted for the "slashed tires" app but I figure that even then, it wouldn't change anything...
I've been scheming ways to lobby the MoE and Conservation people to set up a "Wall of Shame" online as well as a yearly poster series where they publish the list of violators. Similar things happen with other criminals. ENGO's seem to be get away with publishing such lists...
I know this isn't likely to be a reality, and I do not suggest we start this here, but if it even had a chance of happening, I'd be all for it.
