    Red Lightning

    Hook-Mustad C53S size 6-12
    Tail- Black Marabou with 2 pieces of Red Crystal Flash
    Body-Black Ostrich Hearl
    Rib-Red Wire
    Thorax-Black Red Angel Hair
    Bead-Red Japanese Glass bead




    Green Goblin

    Hook-Mustad C53S size 6-12
    Tail- Black Marabou with 2 pieces of green flashabou
    Body-Black Ostrich Hearl
    Rib-Green Wire
    Thorax-Peacock angel hair
    Bead-Green Japanese Glass bead

    Ya, those will catch fish. Mason, have you tried using sparser amounts of Angel Hair and circumnavigating the hook shank with it, ala a collar?

    It actually looks liektheres alot more angel hair then there really is for some reason. And I actually these leaches using the hair as a collar now, this pattern was just one I have not done it on.

    Good stuff. The reason I ask is I have a couple noncommercial patterns (read as MY personal patterns) that incorporate a sparse collar of either pheasant rump dyed wine or yellow. Makes a big difference in the eyes of the fish. I can definitely see the benefit of creating a shroud with a flashy synthetic material to substitute the pheasant.

    ah ok. Yeah the angel hair is nice becasue its so thin and you can make it as sparse as possible.
