What do you want to use your tent for? Do you want to use it for just going camping and keeping you dry or for hiking where weight and size play a part in the decision? Budget? You can buy tents from $100 all the way to $1000 so what kind of qaulity do you want. Just a few questions so that i might be able to recommend something that would be something you could afford.

Hey Eric, there is a camping place down by the Pattullo bridge that might be worth checking out...Skyview Camping & Surplus Ltd 108-12332 Pattullo Pl, Surrey, BC V3V8C3, 604-580-3777. A friend of mine got a tent from them a few years back. He is happy with it but it gets light use. I have an outbound tent that I have used for years and it hasnt let me down. Stay away from the Crappy tire/Walmart junk.

Seeing that your from langley, I highly recommend a stop to Coast Mountain Sports. I can almost gurentee they will have something that you will like. I have a kelty tent from them and it is really easy to setup and i have yet to get wet inside of it even during thundershowers and sleeping on snow. Lots of there tents are designed to be compact and lightweight but im sure they will have some that can be used for car camping without draining the wallet. One thing that you should know about skyview is that if you find something you like, try to find another dealer because products can be substantially more expensive at skyview.

I've used a 4 person Colman now for about 10 years. It's still holding up great. I'm not a huge tent camper either, although I do enjoy it when I do go, but Colman is always a reputable name. It won't be long till I get a trailer, and the tent will hopfully be a thing of the past.

    I have a Eureka.
    It has been stellar.
    I recommend a tent with a vestibule.
    Very nice if it rains.
