Nice looking clouser! I'm gonna tie a few of those up.
Only thing I would do different is to tie the white on top as that will be the bottom when the fly is fished.
WARNING watch your knuckles, the chum grab em and GO

Here's my contribution - The Wounded Muddler
Hook: Mustad Signature size 6, 4xl
Thread: Camel
Tail: Mottled Turkey
Body: Copper tinsel
Rib: Gold oval tinsel
Bead: Red 6/0 glass
Underwing: Squirrel tail
Wing: Mottled Turkey
Head: Spun deer body hair, Natural, and Copper cone
...Basically a cone head muddler, but with his innards showing....
p.s. this will be my contribution to the baitfish swap as well - two birds, one stone.
Catch and Release -- into my frying pan!
you guys both tying on stainless?
Now you have it right! You could also give this a Try... white tied in front of the eyes. This Makes the whole bottom of the fly white. Just keep being creative!
Man, ain't that a good question!I took me a week to find the hooks I needed for the baitfish swap - everyone was sold out of stainless 4xl hooks. I eventually had to go to That Place to get them. I hate giving my money to those guys, but it was a necessary evil this time. Short answer: Yes.
