    Default carpin

Well headed back out today to try for carp.
Took the sled outta langley and headed up to the backwater/slough/creek?
Only problem is to get where we wanted to go we had to go under a couple of bridges. First one was tight 8" or so to spare. Second one, no dice.
I f we had of filled the boat up halfway maybe, or as my buddy say's " let the air out of the tires " we might have made it.
Good thing we didn't stick around too long, I figured we had only been up there 10 minutes so I could just pin it back under the bridge. Well the tide was making and the river had come up a couple of inches at least. That was a little scary, by the time I realized it was too late. Good thing I was kneeling down because there was only three inches to spare from the top of the steering wheel.
    Oh ya, we didn't fish.

arn't most of the sloughs high right now because of the fraser making it too dirty to fish for them?? might have to stick with lakes for a little while.

    Default never too dirty

The fish move out of the fraser and into the sloughs at this time with the water being so high.
The trick is to spot em and get ahead of em.
we fish as a team. One spotting, one casting.
On monday we could see em 30 yards away.
a boat is a big help right now.
But you have to be very quiet. They tune into any noise right now.
I know a few spots to fish from shore, but you pretty much need to see them to catch them. Blind casting is not too productive I have been told.
