I will be moving to victoria soon, as soon as I find work, and as such will have to find some new places to hunt my beloved cutthroat. I had just a few questions for the island guys here

does anyone know of any small community hatcheries around victoria that need volunteer help, I help out quite a bit at the little campbell river hatchery and was hoping to find something similar

does anyone need a fishing partner for cutthroat (salt or freshwater) - dont worry Im not out to poach spots, Ive just never really fished on VI and dont know anyone there at all so Im at a loss as to where to start

Pick up a copy of the "Backroad Mapbooks Fishing Mapbook R1: Vancouver Island BC". They're very informative with things like hydrographic maps/directions/stocking information and such.

I'll be moving to Victoria this Fall as well, and will always be looking to get out for a fish.
