    Question Columbia river June 3rd-14th

Anyone on here live in the Castlegar, Trail area? I'm draggin' the drift boat up to do some dry fly fishing in the evenings. If so, let me know if you want to hook up and have a beer or wet a line.
Will check in here periodicaly from my buddies place in GF.

    Hi Erik,

I live in the area. I'm the first to admit I'm not much of a river fisherman but I'll be around towards the end of your trip.

If you have some good luck, let me know (I'd appreciate the advice)

If your fishing down by Trail, let me know and I might be able to meet
up after work (when I'm in town).

    Good luck

    Nick

    Hi Erik.

How are those Sunbeam spools working out for you??

As for the Columbia. It is the highest I have ever seen it....right into the trees on the shoreline, with no where to walk.

I hear the caddis have started to hatch, but I haven't seen them yet. Be careful as there will be alot of debris ( telephone pole sized logs) in the water.

I would love to join up with you, but I have blown the cartlidge in my knee and house bound.

Take care and report back to us on your trip

LOL......ya, they are saying if I can sit in a drift boat and cast, I can sit at a computer terminal and do the month end reports and such.

I do like my other Dr's therapy though......he said there is nothing better for a swollen knee than standing waist deep in nice cool water casting a fly......grin grin
