    Default Okanagan Speycasters.

I recently purchased an 11 foot switch rod from newsteelyman. My first two hander.

Although I have only been practising on my lawn with a grass leader, It sure is a ton of fun!

Anyways, as hard as it is to find a teacher I just found out that "speyghille" (Gordon)
will be holding a Speycasting clinic in the Okanagan, at the river crossing bridge out of Enderby on July 3rd. and 4th.

It's not free, but I have been looking for this for awhile and thought I should let you folks know that it will be availble here in the Okanagan.

    Hi cougar.

    Sorry.. Been out of town.

I believe there will be an ad in the Vernon Morning Star.

I spoke to Gordon through the private messaging, the fee is 120.00 for the first day or 200.00 for both days.

Single handed, double handed, and some Scottish trout fishing techniques for rivers and lakes.

As mentioned, I just got in and saw your post.

I believe because Gordon is not a paid advertiser is the reason it has not officially been posted on here.

Just send a pm to "speyghille"

( Better yet, click on his profile and read up on some of his posts etc., this is how I found him... certainly appears to be much more than your average Joe...)

I am sure he would be happy to fill you in.

Maybe see you there O boy.

    I'm lookin forward to it.

    Ps.

Just went out in my yard and did some more practise casting.

    And I do ok.

But I really just can't wait.

    4 more sleeps...

Just out of curiousity, because I know next to squat about spey casting, where exactly are you guys going besides maybe the Shuswap and the Thompson? Surely you're not spey casting on stillwaters.. or are you?
