Cowichan

Been to the Cowichan a few times over the last 2 weeks. Fishing is
getting better and better above and below the Falls. Little dry action
to date but that will hopefully improve.

Will take a visit to the Nitinat later this week.

Will go up to the Fly Only area tomorrow. Great stretch of river and seems to have lots of fish available. Will give the Brown's a shot this time and not worry about the rainbow's.

I have heard the brown's are better lower down by the Falls...any comments.

Where are you living on the island? I'm living in Nanaimo, (for about another month before I move to Campbell River,) just wondering if you have done any fishing by Nanaimo lately. I seem to be stuck, no pinks showing up yet, cowichan's too warm, tried a few lakes up in the hills, but they are a ways away, and didn't fish too well. Other than some bass, anyone been having anyluck around the mid island? Did find my self into some great searun cuttie action today in CR
