Hookin' Up With Fellow Fishers

Howdy all. As a guy who has gotten into fly fishing three seasons ago and who's wife humours his new addiction but does not share it, I'm always fishing alone.

I was hoping that somehow through this site we could organize some sort of thread through which other folks could potentially meet with others to fish. I know for myself working downtown in the film and tv industry there's not an over abundance of outdoorsmen inherent to my line of work and it makes it real difficult to find others that share my passion for fly fishing.

Something along the lines of simply posting where you plan to fish a week prior and maybe a time or some way to indentify yourself and a friendly invitation may work.

It sure helps to have someone to BS with when the chronie fishing is slow!

Sounds like a good idea... plus with the cost of fuel, car pooling might be a way to go..especially on day trips to somewhere a little further like merrit area.
Mondays and tuesdays are days i fish and most people fish weekends, so anyone want to hookup for day trips or even overnight i am in.

Hi guys.
When Bergler gets back from Dragon I will run this buy him.
Sounds like great way for guys to hook up and share the costs of fuel, hookers and blow, er food etc.

It was all a joke.
'cause I would never pay for a hooker.
And blow is just so 90's

Anyone in for this Saturday? I've got the time to fish but the lack of anyone to do it with and essentially I lack the will to go outside the lower mainland unless someone were to inspire me to do otherwise. I'm up for some stillwater somewhere but at this time I'll probably just head out to Rolley Lake unless some other suggestions come up.
